Again, x-posted

Megumi likes to expose as many people to songs from “Music & Lyrics”, such as “Buddha’s Delight” and especially “Pop! Goes My Heart”. As a refresher, here are the embedded videos.

(Yes, “Buddha’s Delight” should sound like BoA’s “Did Ya”)

If there is a point to this post, it is this. What is the result of a secret Canadian pop star? Robin “Sparkles” Scherbatsky (of “How I Met Your Mother”).

Oh right, that is James Van Der Beek. XDD

Just to link it to Jpop (since it’s completely unrelated on its own), now all we need now are some crossover artists that want to cover/sample/remake it. Utada, BoA, Rain? Any takers? “But don’t forget the robot”

Wakana, Keiko and Kaori are fantastic as usual. Yuriko still hasn’t grown on me much, but she sounds fine in this.

LOL at the video’s comments and the few people jumping at like most commenters who say they like WAKANA. Dude, WAKANA has the best control out of the girls. Lol at the “no/limited/same range” comment too.

Yuki looks fierce playing that keyboard.

This girl needs more music like her first album:

Yanno, back when she actually had some semblance of songwriting talent?
(Although “Say It Right” IS catchy. “Maneater” is just annoying, though).

… I’M AVOIDING STUDYING IF YOU MUST KNOW </3

ayaka x Hiromi: SQUEE.

I’m still dying from schoolwork, so I’m leaving you guys with this:

It’s a live of ayaka with a new arrangement by Hiromi (the jazz pianist). Hiromi does eventually go into her crazy fury of notes, but it’s short. It’s out of place in Okaeri, but it would be cool in her usual piano  tracks. In any case, the rest of it sounds really pretty, and Hiromi’s more laid-back jazzy sound is nice to hear after listening to too many of her super-fast jazz pieces.

It’s BENI covering “Superstar” from The Carpenters. And it’s bloody gorgeous. I’m seriously loving this girl with her new releases. She sounds fantastic!

Who’s looking forward to a new album? I am! :D
